About Me

My name is Mackenzie Lewis. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in History in 2011. In August 2011, I started teaching 8th grade US History in my home town. I started teaching because I wanted to be involved in education and I wanted to make a difference. I loved teaching, but I wanted to help more than just the 160 students that I would have every year. So after two years of teaching, I decided to go to law school. I hope to use my law degree and my teaching experience to make the Texas education system a better place for students, teachers, administrators, and parents.
